LEGALWORKS’ Lawyers publish book

Rui Gomes da Silva and Miguel Medina Silva, published a Law book entitled “Teoria Geral do Direito Civil - Noções Elementares” (“General Theory of Civil Law – Elementary Notions”), within Âncora Editora’s Law Collection. The Civil Law General Theory is, unquestionably, one of the most important subjects in Civil Law and, in general, in all areas of Law, as it studies the juridical relationship.

The General Theory explores the several elements in the juridical relationship (the subject, the mediate and immediate object, the juridical fact and the guarantee), covering, practically, all the First Book of the Civil Code, in essential matters to the Law understanding, such as the personality and capability of the natural and legal persons, things, the legal business, the effectiveness and the negative juridical values, will and representation, the business declaration, the divergences between the will and the declaration, the content and interpretation of the legal business.
