Miguel Medina Silva participates in the Georgetown Leadership Seminar, in Washington DC

Miguel Medina Silva, Lawyer in LEGALWORKS, was the Portuguese participant in the prestigious GLS Seminar (Georgetown Leadership Seminar) in Washington DC, this year, dedicated to the subject “The Obama Administration’s Foreign Policy at Midterm”.
 
The GLS, organized by the Georgetown University since 1982 – where, in 2001, also participated Rui Gomes da Silva, founder and partner of LEGALWORKS – gathers, each year, about 30 people from all over the world, invited to participate during a week in an intensive seminar in the presence of leading figures in the north-American political, diplomatic and economical scene.
 
The GLS Alumni network has now six Portuguese names, having also participated, in addition to Rui Gomes da Silva in 2001 and Miguel Medina Silva in 2011, Pedro Santana Lopes (1986), José Manuel Durão Barroso (1996), Rui Teixeira Santos (2009) and Jaime Baptista da Costa (2010).
